Prior to that she was a bookkeeper working at Lincoln National Bank in Newark, then Sunshine Biscuit in Bloomfield as a receptionist. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Parent Teacher Group, worked in the school cafeteria and worked at Our Lady of the Valley Bingo. Margaret also volunteered at the West Orange PAL food concession.

I said yes and he lead me to a beautiful room with music quietly playing where she was laid out beautifully as if her funeral were taking place there. I said "You did this just for me?" and he said "Of course. I wanted you to have a nice goodbye with your Mom." I'm crying as I write this because it was just so beautiful. I am forever grateful to Mr. Dangler for every courtesy and every kindness he showed to me, my wife, my father and my Mom.
Without Darren, I can honestly say, we would have been lost. He went so far above and beyond in helping my Dad and wife make the arrangements its hard for me to outline everything he did. I will give you one really beautiful example--my Mom was going to have a closed casket funeral on Long Island but she passed away in West Orange so she had to be taken to a funeral home in NJ. We were given Dangler's funeral home the night she passed. I didn't get to see my Mom on the night she passed and arrived back in the US two days after her death. Although she was not being laid out at Dangler funeral home, I asked if I could come by the funeral home the day before her funeral on Long Island just to see her and pay my respects.

I truly expected to be brought into a preparatory room b/c we had not asked for nor paid for any type of service at Dangler. When I got there, Darren greeted me and had me wait a few minutes in his office. I was nervous and spent some time looking at his awards and commendations for bravery as a firefighter on the wall. He quietly walked in and asked me if I was ready to see her.
